About Revolution RecordsI have always been a big fan of music, both as a performer and collector. I can't really remember life without a lot of music being played LOUDLY. I remember hearing that John Lennon had been killed when I was young. My first thought was, "he and that guy Paul were in an English band that was really big before I was born." I was 5 years old.
Like a lot of other kids, I was first exposed to music by my parents. The seed was planted early and grew into bass, guitar, and saxophone lessons, marching bands, rock bands, gigs, recording sessions, reeds, broken strings, sappy lyrics, and creative differences. In addition to a lot of playing, I do a lot collecting as well. I spent nearly every penny I ever earned at my first job in high school at a record store in Willow Grove that sold almost nothing but vinyl classic rock albums.
I'm now 32, married, and employed as a web programmer. I still love music. I might not own a record store on South Street, but I've got revolutionrecords.us and I've got you, the consumer. You are already buying music on Amazon.com, so why not just use your account here and let me be the one to collect the commission? [Note: I have absolutely no shame.]
When I decided to embark on setting up my own store front, the hands-down choice was to become an affiliate of Amazon.com. With their massive stock, logistics mastery, and payment processing availability, it was a no-brainer when it came to becoming an Amazon.com affiliate.
In addition to the wide array of music that can be bought, you have the safety and convenience of using your existing Amazon.com account to make fast and safe purchases -- right here on this site.
I hope you find this web site helpful when you are doing shopping for CDs that fall into one of the many I chose to feature on this site. Check back monthly for different featured items, which will usually be albums I am currently listening to.
